Florida wedding

Fun in the sun! On the eastern coast of the United States Florida is a popular wedding destination, with its many possible wedding locations. Florida, just as Las Vegas, is known for warm weather but there are times of the year when you need to watch out for the weather (whether it is the harsh sun or their hurricane season) so just because it has a reputation of being sunny and warm, don’t assume that it will be depending on the time of the year.

When deciding where in Florida to get married, do some research on its geography and what it offers as it differs from south to north and west to east. Florida has many flight connections but how easy it is to get to your destination will obviously depend on actual location and its proximity to the wedding venue and airport etc. Although Florida is within North America, if you are planning a destination wedding (that is not getting married close to your home town or where most of your guests are going to be coming from) then do consider this when it comes to timing of sending out your invitations etc. People may want to make your wedding into a bonus vacation for them so allow enough time for them to get time off from work or school, find good accommodation, flights etc.

If you are not from Florida make sure that you have researched if there is anything in particular you need to be aware of in order to get married out-of-state just to be sure that you are still married when you get back home.

A Florida wedding can be exactly what you want it to be, play with the location of it by adding some flamingos and have your guests show up in pink shirts or go with a more traditional style of wedding. Make it what you want it to be. But if there is a particular reason for why you are choosing Florida for your wedding there may be some neat way for you to integrate that into your wedding. Let your imagination and dreams play while you are planning your Florida destination wedding.
